Echuca Riverfront
Echuca Riverfront Power and Public Lighting
Construction was overseen by Marc Quarrell Construction and liaised with the Campaspe Shire council. This project was designed to create a public recreation area adjacent to the port of Echuca and the Murray river. It also provides mooring for the historical paddle steamers and commercial boats along the water front.
Watters involvement in this project was to provide power and public lighting along the promenade for the boat moorings and public lighting for landscaping and pathways linked throughout.
Public lighting was configured by multiple settings where the fittings drop to 50% capacity after 10pm, but if required an “after hours” button is located on each pole to boost lighting to 100% for 2 hours. Along the promenade there is also LED floodlighting that have multiple themes and can be easily set to a range of colours. It is a fresh clean look on the historical part of town for tourists and locals alike.
