Information Regarding the Heat Pump Hot Water Government Rebate

NSW Rebates Information - UP TO $2,300 Available

UP TO $1,100 - Federal Government STCs

All iStore hot water heat pump installations qualify for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) when performed by a licensed plumber and electrician. The rebate amount is determined by the model chosen and the installation’s postcode.

UP TO $1,200 - State Government ESS

The NSW Energy Savings Scheme is applicable when upgrading from an Electric Storage or Gas Hot Water System to an iStore hot water heat pump. Rebate amounts are determined by the zone and the specific unit being replaced. To qualify, the heat pump must be installed by an accredited installer registered with an approved trader.

VIC Rebates Information - UP TO $3,300 Available

UP TO $1,100 - Federal Government STCs

All installations of iStore hot water heat pumps qualify for STCs when completed by a licensed plumber and licensed electrician. The rebate amount is determined by the chosen model and the postcode of the installation site.

UP TO $1,200 - State Government VEECs

VEECs are applicable when replacing an Electric or Gas Storage Hot Water System with an iStore hot water heat pump. The rebate amount is determined by the selected model, what you are switching from and the postcode of the installation site.

UP TO $1,000 - VIC Solar Rebate

Available on all iStore hot water heat pump installation, when customers meet the below eligibility criteria:

Are the owner-occupier of the property
Have a combined household taxable income of less than $210,000 per year
Have not already received a solar battery rebate under the Solar Homes Program
The property is an existing property, valued at under $3 million
The property has not already received a solar battery rebate as an owner-occupier under the Solar Homes Program
The hot water system to be replaced is at least 3 years old from the date of purchase
